Child and Family Guidance Center

Child and Family Guidance Center in Northridge, California provides Outpatient Treatment along with Crisis Intervention. The center provides coordinated care that addresses both mental health conditions and substance use in a single, integrated setting.

Clients participate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Therapy, and Group Therapy to address a range of clinical and personal recovery goals. The treatment team serves adolescents and young adults dealing with Co-Occurring Disorders and Serious Mental Illness, through an integrated approach to mental health and substance use recovery.

Clients work with their treatment team to develop coping strategies and build the skills needed for long-term recovery. Care planning focuses on recovery support, wellness education, and the development of lasting coping skills.
