Do not inpatient your tween or teen here. Don’t let them keep your tween or teen here. As a 12 year old I spent a week in the inpatient facility and THREE WEEKS doing outpatient. They will not see your child as fit for discharge unless they have fully conformed to Bradley’s standards. I missed a month of sixth grade and a field trip I had been looking forward to for years, simply because the clinicians at Bradley set me so far behind. When you treat a child with home or mental issues as something to be fixed, they remain under the mindset that they are something to be fixed.

I have been coming here for about 6 months for weekly counseling sessions. I have been waiting on an evaluation with psychiatrist Dr. Wold for over a month. I was a bit upset about how long I had to wait for this appointment because I’ve been seriously struggling with my mental health. So the day of the appointment arrives and I’m ecstatic that I’m FINALLY going to receive the help I’m in such dire need of, only for the receptionist to inform me upon arrival that my appointment was canceled. She then proceeds to give me a number to call on reschedule. I called and explained to them that I need an appointment as soon as possible and ask them why I was never notified of the cancellation, and she told me that they left me a voicemail about it which was a lie, there was NO voicemail left on my phone about this. Her reasoning for canceling my appointment was due to a “problem with scheduling”, meaning they cancelled my appointment and gave it to somebody else. For what reason? I have no clue and she wouldn’t give me a logical explanation. It’s bad enough I never got notified that my appointment was canceled, but it’s ridiculous that they never even called me to try and reschedule. So she tells me the soonest appointment she can give me is a month away. It just goes to show how much they prioritize patients who are going through a mental health crisis. Officially done with this place. If you need help, go somewhere else.
