Advantage Behavioral Health Systems – Walton County Mental Health Center in Monroe, Georgia is a CARF accredited outpatient mental health and substance use treatment center serving residents of Walton County and the surrounding Northeast Georgia region. The center is the designated safety-net behavioral health provider for the area, serving uninsured and underinsured individuals living with severe persistent mental illness (SPMI), substance use disorder, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Services include individual therapy, group therapy, couples counseling, family therapy, psychotherapy, medication management, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-focused therapy.

Advantage is one of 22 Georgia Community Service Boards established by state statute and operates under the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model. Conditions addressed include depression, anxiety, dual diagnosis, co-occurring disorders, and substance use disorders.
