I have had the privilege to work with many clients who stepped down from residential programming to Verve Behavioral Health for intensive outpatient services. I have seen their lives significantly improve because of the intimate setting and their attention to detail. They indeed design a treatment plan that fits the person's specific struggles, whether it be substance use disorders, sex and love addiction, technology addiction, gambling addiction, or depression and anxiety.

I am so glad to hear that Vive has gotten DBH accreditation. Dr. Rosenblatt is a kind, caring and compassionate psychiatrist and very knowledgeable about addiction treatment. So glad to add Vive as a referral for clients.

As a healthcare provider myself, I deeply understand the importance of finding a good therapist you can trust. The Sterling Group offers a safe, non-judgmental space where patients can express themselves, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and be guided through challenging emotions and situations. Through working with Jess, I not only feel better but I have experienced tangible benefits and growth in my personal life. It is a relief to of found a provider who listens, understands, and genuinely supports me. Strongly recommend The Sterling Group!! They are a fantastic group of therapists.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I compare mental health providers in District of Columbia?
When comparing providers in District of Columbia, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
What should I ask before contacting a provider in District of Columbia?
Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in District of Columbia?
Some listings in District of Columbia may include providers that offer substance use treatment alongside mental health services, depending on available provider data. Use the Core Services filter to search for specific service types, or browse facility detail pages to see the full list of services reported for each provider.
What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all District of Columbia providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
