In my opinion/experience/observation They have only 1 tool. Morphine. In my experience they gave it…pain or not. and I wonder if that’s what caused my father to decline so fast. I know it sounds cliche, but I’ve been an RN for over a decade and always believed in hospice until now.

After an isolated Middle East duty tour with the US Navy, I developed PTSD. Over the years this developed into depression, anxiety and insomnia. The VA has been a big help in treating these conditions, but I felt I needed a second opinion in regard to medications that may help me.
