I am not happy at all, I sent my 12 year old daughter here to get help and with in 5 days of her being there she gets assaulted by a 16 year old. Why is it okay to put someone that is almost an adult with a minor? And mind you why were they not being watched like I was told they would be? Please be careful and over look and ask questions before sending your love ones here.

I didn't have the greatest experience here when I came to get a psychological evaluation done. I had been urged to seek a psychological assessment from the University of Nevada, Reno, after having a conversation with one of the staff at the Disability Resource Center. The primary reason I am leaving this review is because of the lack of billing transparency. Prior to my evaluation, the only pricing information I was given was that a $200 payment was required before scheduling. At no point before or during the assessment was I informed of the total cost or that I would even be charged more than what I already paid. After my evaluation was completed, I was then informed that my out-of-pocket cost would total nearly $1000, even with insurance. This was unexpected and financially stressful, as I would not have proceeded with getting evaluated had I known what the actual price would have been. With that said, I do feel it's important to note that the assessment itself went smoothly and the written report I received afterwards was very detailed and professional. My biggest recommendation for any prospective patients is to request a written cost estimate ahead of time so you can avoid any unexpected charges.
