So it has taken me time to write this. April Burdette is suppose to be a case manager and help. Instead she discriminated against me because I have a service dog. Who by the way is gonna be 10 years old this February 2025. I am the first to bring a service dog into hospitality and security here in Alaska, and we are the first Alaskan residents to be hired for the security position here in Alaska. My service dog and also went to College for 2 years. This April Burdette refused to give us a ride to my first mental health appointment and then proceeded to tell me that she is not a service dog, and my mental health does not affect me physically. That Janet Bogard was making excuses for her. They brought no value into my life, in fact they only made it worse by the way they treated my service dog and I. I will never try this again, and the one good thing I can take from being treated that way was it taught me what I’m capable of. April Burdette needs training to contribute to society. This business should be ashamed of how their employees treat clients. Instead, they make excuses for each other and defend discrimination.
