I really don’t know what to say. I have been with Zion for 8 years. My psychiatrist there retired and he turned me over to a ARNP and said she will take care of you. First meeting she said she was removing me from a medication I had been on for 20 years. She switched me to several different psych meds that ruined me. I was then put back on the previous med and rapidly tapered going through severe withdrawals and begged them to slow down the taper as the swift reductions were making me very, very ill. She would not. My last meeting with her I was homeless, lost my wife and kids, and my job. All because she did not want to do reporting measures on my medication. I am now going through BIND from being taking off quickly. BIND is severe neurological disorder caused from abrupt benzodiazepine deprescribing causing disabling symptoms. I am completely agoraphobic and bed bound amongst about 35 other severe neurological symptoms. She has no clue what she is doing. There is no cure for BIND other than time. It can take many months to possible years to recover. All over a medication that I was fine taking and 20 years ago was giving to me for severe muscle spasms. This is murder by healthcare.
