Mental Health Providers in Andover, Kansas

I didn’t want to give any stars but you have to- to leave a review. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I called on April 23rd to make an emergency appointment for my daughter and they told me they could see her June 3rd??. I told them she needed to be seen way sooner than that and that is was very unrealistic for anyone to wait over a month to be seen for an EMERGENCY appointment. The receptionist told me she was going to chat with my daughters daughter and call me back- I did not get a call back so I called again the next day and explained the situation again and that I did not get a call back and she still needed to be seen asap. Once again I was told she pile call me back and guess what?? They didn’t call me back. You cannot be a mental health office and not call someone back twice in a row. So I called back money and I won’t lie I was not nice when I talked to the receptionist because for the third time I was explaining that she needed to be seen and I had called twice and never received a call back. She scheduled her for that Wednesday at 2:00 after I hung up I realized that Wednesday wasn’t going to work cause I had something else I had to be at so I called back and asked if they had something else for the week and she told me she could get her in the following day at 2:00. We show up to the appointment and they tell us our appointment isn’t until the next day at 2:00 and I explained that I had called back and one of the receptionist changed it to 2:00 that day. To make a long story short they ‘accepted’ her appointment and seen her. After speaking to the provider And getting things worked out with new medication she asked me if I wanted to make a follow up appointment and I told her no we already had an appointment for May 27th. She told me she did not see any follow up appointment in our file. She offered to email the front desk and I told her no as I wanted to talk to them myself. We walked to the front desk and I ask the receptionist. If she had us down for May 27 for our follow up appointment that we made over a month ago that I also have the reminder car that they wrote out the appointment. She told me there was no appointment in our file, but she could schedule us for a follow up appointment while we were there. By this point I was completely done and fed up with them not communicating and not doing their job. She did make a follow up appointment, but we are currently looking for a new place to go that is more professional and communicates better with each other and their patients. Before anyone comes at me, I understand that mistakes happen but this was one thing after another and you cannot be a mental health place and not call someone back when they are trying to schedule an emergency appointment of all things AND mess up appointments like they did. I feel sorry for anyone that goes to this place while they’re having a mental health crisis because they will not get the treatment and attention they need for it.
