Perhaps you are like me, desperately reading reviews at 2am in the emergency room. And everything feels awful, and nothing feels right, and you’re looking for that shred of hope that you’re making the right choice, and that your child is going to be safe.

Good. Been diagnosed with Brey-tardation for the 3rd time now. It's a rare yet severe disorder that only very few people have. Clinic is nice and clean. Professional and somewhat quick. Income based and sometimes employers help pay for visits. So reasonable clinic over all when dealing with mental issues while be financially unstable.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I compare mental health providers in Kansas?
When comparing providers in Kansas, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
What should I ask before contacting a provider in Kansas?
Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in Kansas?
Some listings in Kansas may include providers that offer substance use treatment alongside mental health services, depending on available provider data. Use the Core Services filter to search for specific service types, or browse facility detail pages to see the full list of services reported for each provider.
What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all Kansas providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
