I wanted to leave a review update since I haven't been to Lifeskills in about 4 months. Looking back I really think I benefited from my experience at the Metcalfe County Lifeskills in Edmonton Kentucky 42129 more than my other experiences with the other Lifeskills locations. I had the same therapist my entire time I went to Lifeskills in Edmonton Kentucky 42129 and he retired about 4 months ago and now I can honestly say going to talk to him and knowing him made me feel alot better about my life. I found him very interesting and informative. I would like to have most of those times back but it is impossible. I also met a few other nice people there while attending- some worked in the office, one worked at the TR program when it was open, but truthfully my former therapist made me feel alot better about myself, more than any body else I've spent alot of time with I probably could honestly say. I think Lifeskills is going through some changes recently so I can't really say how treatment is currently but I know I probably wouldn't be here today if I hadn't have been seeing my former therapist there. I appreciate the time some people that worked there dedicated to my life. If you are needing some service from Lifeskills I'd say it would be worth going and trying to see if it would be helpful to you because you may get someone that will make a difference in your life, like someone did in mine. No guarantees though, that's almost always true with about anything. I would have liked to have more notice about people leaving for retirement but it is impossible to go back and change what has already happened. Don't expect miracles when you go and maybe you will look back eventually and think about certain memories you made along the way that meant more to you than you even realized at the time.
