Our child was at the Ridge Farmhouse for 90 days at the end of 2024. He had a good experience and would definitely recommend it. We were nervous about such a remote location. And soon realized this was the perfect place for him. They have a very good policy around gender fluid children as well, and I would not hesitate to send a child who is questioning gender to the Ridge. Your child will be safe and well cared for here. I cannot recommend this place enough. They will have to do chores, and they will have to tend to the farm animals. But the enrichment and self confidence this gives to your child is important. Our son can face and lead any size horse with confidence and pride. Only reason I did not leave five stars is because I found the Family therapy sessions a little bit lacking. We were pleased overall and would go again.
