My son was a patient here . He did his detox treatment (8days) . The hardest part was leaving him. I knew he was gonna be OK and sober when he came home. The staff was amazing on intake I was able to call everyday multiple times a day and check on him. The nurses were friendly and allowed me to ask questions and kept me very informed. He wasnt able to speak to me but they would let him know I had called . We didnt have insurance so it was self pay. When I got him today the nurses hugged him and told him how proud they were of him , completing and finishing out his treatment. He got a certificate of completion. I think we were prouder of that paper than his HS diploma. He gained tools he needed to help him on the road to recovery. It won't be easy, 7OH isn't any easy drug. He would say the beds weren't best, but nothing is as comfortable as home..the food was eeee repetitive everyday. But it was filling. He was invited back to groups , which he said he probably would do and he would actually miss the people there. Addiction is hard, it is not just the person addicted suffering its the family too. I am thankful we found American detox they truly helped my son and got us on the road to recovery. Thank you American detox -
