I waiting over 75 minutes, with an appointment, not a walk-in, because they double booked, took a new patient over an established one. At that point I inquired about the wait time. They sent in a different NP who essentially told me I had conjunctivitis bc I didn't wash my hands when I changed my contact lenses. I am in healthcare & I am very aware of the value of good hand hygiene. This despite me advising him I was sick the previous weekend (so probably viral). The level of arrogance & lack of empathy was so disappointing. I would not return.

As a parent of a child with significant mental health needs, finding the right care felt overwhelming and honestly terrifying at times. From the moment my child was admitted to Midlands Behavioral Health Hospital, I felt heard, supported, and included in the treatment process. The staff showed genuine compassion not only toward my child, but toward our entire family. The nurses, therapists, physicians, and support staff consistently communicated with us and treated my child with dignity, patience, and kindness during a very difficult season. I could see that they truly cared about helping children heal. No parent wants to face a mental health crisis with their child, but I am grateful Midlands was there when we needed help the most. I would absolutely recommend this hospital to families seeking compassionate behavioral health care for their child.

I haven't even gone to this place yet. I have only spoken to a couple people on the phone about setting up services and they were SO KIND! They answered my questions and were so nice. I can't wait to go see them and get the help I need and know I will receive!
