Mental Health Providers in Orangeburg, South Carolina

I stuck with this thinking, ok.. This lady is wonderful. Maybe we’ve finally got some where in getting help that my child needs. But then this… No parent should EVER be told IN FRONT of their child that they’ve “created a monster” (the parent) (the single mom at that doing ALL she can do to keep her son from going down a wrong road or hurting himself again) I’ve always been skeptical about this place but I stayed for the sake of my son. He has some issues going on that needed to be worked out so I stayed only for him. Our final and last visit was what hurt me down to my core and pissed me off at the same time. No parent should EVER be told IN FRONT of their child that they’ve “created a monster”. I pray every other child that is dealing with emotional, mental, physical, whatever issues can make it through that program. I’m going to find another route for mine.

They do not offer the psychiatric services to the community and ltc facilities as stated. The ER will tell you they do not have psychiatrists on staff to evaluate patients at all times.So why are they stating they are impatient/outpatient psychiatric care if there are no psychiatrists to evaluate and treat? People don't have mental health issues at the convenience of doctors. There is no such thing at RMC as round the clock mental health care and the ER doctors will tell you that.
