I am a patient at Mount Laurel LMIH in logan WV. I see a PA-C To get antidepressants for my depression and anxiety. Other staff I had seen there was trying to put me on a lot of other medications that I told them would not work. After taking antidepressants for more than 30 years, I know what works for me. I don't need mood stabilizers or anxiety pills. But I went along with them because they didn't care and gave me no choice. As a result I suffered for quite a while on medications that were having no effect on my condition. I finally started seeing a PAC there who listened to me. We got my depression under control. My problem with him is that this morning my appointment was at 10:20 AM. I wasn't able to get on with him until about noon. I always have to call them to remind them that I am seeing him via Microsoft Teams and not in person. I have to remind them that a nurse must talk to me before I'm able to see the PA-C. It is always a struggle to see that man at the appointed time. He finally came on the screen after a few attempted phone calls With this stupid smile on his face as if everything was OK. Waiting for more than an hour and a half after my appointment time is unacceptable. Based on my experience, my opinion is that you would be better off going anywhere else.
