My son stayed at Hillside Horizons, he was having a really rough time in life with addiction and impulse control. He was making really bad choices, and I didn't know how to help him or keep him safe. Hillside Horizons was amazing right from the start. They were able to get him a bed, and he was able to get a court issued furlough to attend the program. It's the hardest decision to make, especially sending him states away... but I am so glad I made that hard choice. He is home now, doing great, and so glad for his experience there. Staff were all amazing, always in communication and treated my son with respect and understanding. He learned so much, and is thriving. It is so good to have my son back, and we are moving forward together. I couldn't be more thankful! My son did try one other residential treatment center before Hillside, and the two don't even compare. Having a house setting makes a huge difference, and the staff really do care. If you can get your kiddo here, do it. My son has a new chance at life again.
