I was recommended to Newport by my outpatient therapist, and I could not be more grateful. I was admitted in December 2023 and stayed through March 2024. Stays range from 30-60 days to up to 3 months, depending on the care plan and insurance. Newport also offers financial assistance and works with families to create affordable plans.

This is by far the worst rehabilitation center I have ever seen/experienced. The house is rat infested, the staff is hostile (especially when constructive feedback is provided), no phones, terrible food (you have to cook for yourself many times) and they make clients work for free cleaning/feeding barn animals. The owner/employees bring their dogs who interrupt classes/sleep and there is literally no medical staff present. When many clients provided safety concerns (we literally had to place dressers against doors to protect us from psychotic clients in detox), we were met with hostile employees who told us "we could leave if we didn't like it". If your a male (and veteran), do not come here. They also have prior clients working as indentured servants working the farm to live on the property (taking beds away from potential PHP clients). I almost relapsed because of thos place alone. DONT MAKE MY MISTAKE
