Mental Health Providers in Towson, Maryland

So my story.... My old doctor left me high and dry. When I called to make a new appointment I was told that she was no longer seeing patients and that the decision had been made a month or so prior. I was down to two days of medication. I was in full panic mode. I searched and found MATClinics. Towson was the first office that came up, although not the closest, I went with them. I was nervous going in. They made an appointment for me the next day (Saturday). I went in and the staff could not have been nicer. The front desk woman was the one I spoke with the prior day. She had me in the system and told me that all would be ok. Did the paperwork, the urinalyses and went to see Dr. Kalu. She listened to my story, got me up and running on what I had been on with the previous doctor and told me all would be ok. The script notification came thru before I left the office. The girls at the front desk took my self pay payment, then found out that I had insurance, processed that, got my refund in order, and gave me my insurance info to give to the pharmacy since i did not have a card yet. The next week I saw Dr. Shoffner, and she was just as nice and caring, and even helped me figure out a few other medical questions I had. I have three offices closer to my house, and would not even think of changing offices at this point. The office is clean, nice, parking is easy, staff is caring and wonderful and they help with everything and anything. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I've been seeing my counselor here for close to four years. It's been a great experience that has really improved my life. I've only ever had helpful, positive experiences with the administrative staff as well.
