Their Crisis Line and support was seriously helpful in a time in my life where I needed it the most. I felt comfortable talking with the therapist and person over the phone. I am so beyond grateful and thankful for this wonderful business and what they do for people. Shout out to an AMAZING therapist by the name of Angela Hollermann, if you get her as a crisis therapist, you're in fantastic and caring hands.

They really lack communication. But the biggest issue is with the moody receptionist. If you call to schedule something she transfers it to someone else. She doesn't keep anyone's schedule. Not sure what she does, she is NOT friendly, very snappy. It is a mental health facility, so they have a receptionist that will push someone having a rough day over the edge with her attitude. Calling there is a horrible experience having to talk to Kelly and her being so condescending. At first I chalked it up to everyone has a bad day but every appointment, every phone call she is having a bad day.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I compare mental health providers in Minnesota?
When comparing providers in Minnesota, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
What should I ask before contacting a provider in Minnesota?
Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in Minnesota?
Some listings in Minnesota may include providers that offer substance use treatment alongside mental health services, depending on available provider data. Use the Core Services filter to search for specific service types, or browse facility detail pages to see the full list of services reported for each provider.
What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all Minnesota providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
