I wanted to like this program so much but currently as it sits the program is trash.... I'm unsure if they just got all new management or what but none of the staff are on the same page what the rules are vary from staff to staff not to mention the HIPPA violations I witnessed alone would get some of the workers fired. The program they work is literally made for prisoners therefore unless you're familiar with or plan to go into the prison system it doesn't really make sense for the average mother. Not to mention you also lose time from your required hours for taking care of your children during programming when literally that is what this program Is for. Getting into trouble for not being in group because you had to take care of your baby when your in a program that's designed for women who are mothering while they are in treatment.... It's really a big mess. They discharged one girl after she "started problems" in group after simply stating if her skin was a different color she'd be treated different literally immediate discharge of her and her kids... No plan to get her into a new program just kicked to the street same with me because they missed something in my bag when they searched and found it they did the same no warning just immediate discharge not to mention literally stealing my property and kicking me out and not returning what they just took from my room. They also called the other family programs and disclosed my situation basically trying to blacklist me from family programming because they can't do their job properly.... It's a shame because this program is needed there are so few of them but this one specifically isn't running smoothly or ethically or efficiently for women with real life stuff they just have nothing in order it runs like a crabby 3 year old with no sleep that's hungry to put it the best way I can. I'd suggest looking elsewhere if your serious about reunification or quitting substance use in general this program just needs to shut down re train their staff and maybe reopen but they literally did nothing but set me back and leave me for vultures
