No longer a safe place for LGBT or immigrants. Rumor from multiple sources, is that if push came to shove, they would be the neighbors that turn Anne Frank in. They have shifted to be profit focused instead of compassionate care. Run. Go anywhere else. I say this as someone that has used their services off and on for over 20 years and I used to trust them without question. They are not what they used to be. They talk the talk but absolutely no longer walk the walk.

If you need mental health help, this is the place to go. I wish my situation had allowed me to stay longer. The staff is beyond friendly and compassionate. This is exactly the place someone needs in a mental health crisis. I want to shoutout Nina for making me feel more at ease from the moment I arrived. She truly cares about others and I felt less anxious whenever I had the chance to interact with her. Thank you CMMHC

My child had been on the waitlist and I got a call from her therapist stating that there was a bed for her. Newport contacted her therapist first, when I asked them about this I was told their treatment team was contacting my child’s therapist to go over treatment plan and records… this would make sense if I had signed a release for them to give and receive information but I had not. Some of the responses given in these reviews state they cannot respond due to privacy laws but where was that when it came to my child. It was because of this situation alone that I decided not to continue with admission. If they are so careless and my daughter is not even a patient I cannot trust my child being there.
