Unfortunately had a bad experiences with this clinic. As someone who works in the mental health field, the assembly line, robotic atmosphere Dr. Rudoy and the staff provides is sterile and unwelcoming. Sessions were short and curt and no rapport was ever built.

Rose is the best psychiatry medical professional I have ever seen! I was referred by my therapist and I’m so happy I was. She listens to me and is so helpful when describing medications. Telehealth is so helpful when I am at school and they are very good at quick communication! The receptionists are absolutely lovely and I have been given so much help and support from everyone I’ve met there.

Horrible. I went there assuming it was a walk in Psych hospital, as there is no indication of otherwise anywhere I looked online. Turns out, it's a hospital for the criminally insane and people who are forced to be there by the courts. There where a couple of very kind people who called EMS for me and waited with me to make sure I wasn't alone, but I was waiting for over 2 hours and EMS never showed up. I ended up just taking a bus back to where I came from. Good people, just horrible that it's not mentioned anywhere about what type of psych hospital it is. Plus there's too many any mosquitoes.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I compare mental health providers in New York?
When comparing providers in New York, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
What should I ask before contacting a provider in New York?
Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in New York?
Some listings in New York may include providers that offer substance use treatment alongside mental health services, depending on available provider data. Use the Core Services filter to search for specific service types, or browse facility detail pages to see the full list of services reported for each provider.
What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all New York providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
