I called the PSC to have my child added to a waitlist for learning disability assessment. The program refused to add her to the list, and would not make any warm referral. In my view, my daughter was never really considered for this service. I was told that if we did qualify, the cost would be $750 and we would only interact with students. It makes more sense to just call Freedom First rather than wasting time on a 30 min intake with SUNY PSC. The stars are because they were kind and called me back.

My experience first was in 1990 as an adolescent which I was transferred out of I only stayed there a couple days then in 1993 I had a 10-year stay where I just sat around and did nothing for 10 years but we like had a nice dances and the staff and clients were nice that was okay but in 2004 to 2006, I was there when I was pregnant in there and I must say everyone dealt with me pretty well I was going through a lot of Battalion emotions rage and about how crowded it was and the weird people gave me bad vibes but the staff I chose to be with me during the birth at Albany Med we're actually there so that was considerate of them and I want to give them that credit.
