Mental Health Providers in Sierra Vista, Arizona

My psychiatrist is good, I have no issues with them and they have been helpful. However, I take a controlled substance for one of my meds. So it has to go to insurance to be approved and I only get 30 day supply at a time. My insurance decided to not cover that specific one all of a sudden, and express scripts had to send the office and doctors’ assistant the prior authorization forms in a email. I’ve been out of that medication for 3 weeks now, and whoever the assistant I was told was part of handling this issue and paperwork obviously has no sense of urgency. After calling my express scripts, I was told they received nothing from the office or doctor after 3 business days of me giving the office (in person!) the fax numbers, emails and forms needed. I can barley ever reach anyone by phone because they are either “not available” or I get no call back after 3-4 calls with a voicemail. I know people have personal issues and this kind of stuff can be a lot of steps, but there is no reason it should be this delayed. I’m barely an adult and I can’t afford out of pocket for this medication all of a sudden.

I have been receiving services for 4 years now. I absolutely love this place. Alexis is the greatest case manager ever and is always there when I need her. I've had several therapists there all have been great. Casey taught me boundaries and a lot about C- PTSD. Joy has been a life changer and I am beyond grateful. She has helped me move past things I did not even realize I was holding onto. Charles is an amazing psychiatrist that actually listens which is rare and awesome. Then Monica is the best doctor I've ever had. She hears my health concerns and does everything to find the problem instead of bandaging it. I go here because everyone cares and is there for you. I am thankful for them. I have to also shout out Brandon who has been there for my son. My son looks forward to his therapy every week.
