Mental Health Providers in Lafayette, California

This was the worst mental health experience i have ever had. i came here straight from the psych ward and it was the worst experience. all the employees are like 19 and don't know what they are doing. meds were late, the food was rotting, no private chef was provided. little accomodating for feeding disorders like ARFID. The therapists are nice however, they are the only staff that know what they are doing. the program is run in a way where you are expected to provide "role model behavior" and the staff tend to parentify you when you do. the only way to get your needs med to is freak out so the employees are forced to take care of you. i was harrassed by some employees multiple times and instead of seeing me as a psych patient, they treated me like i was an annoying child. i was refused food, refused to call my mother after attempting to jump off the balcony, and slut shamed by one of the employees. overall, this made my SI much worse and i do NOT reccomend putting your children through this.
