North Range Behavioral Health is an absolute joke and feels like it’s run worse than a government office. I’ve been a “client” here for almost 3 months and have only had two sessions. They don’t allow regularly scheduled sessions so you can only book your next session at the end of your appointment and they’re usually 3-4 weeks out. The first session ended up being only 30 minutes because the therapist failed to send a link in advance and it took quite some time to chase the main office to notify the therapist.

Can’t speak to how the therapist quality is, as I didn’t make it past the front desk. Spoke several times on via text and phone with the receptionist, Kayla, who told me to bring my insurance card and credit card to my first appointment and I would fill out the intake papers in person “since my appointment was coming up so soon.” Arrived today, and they had nothing in the computer. The owner attempted to smooth things over and told me I could have a “diagnostic evaluation” today with a male therapist, when I specifically asked for a female therapist and for a specific therapy (EMDR). Several of the therapists present in the room proceeded to attempt to persuade me to do an evaluation with one of them, but said I would potentially be matched with someone else. Not to mention they attempted to gaslight me that I called the wrong office when I had a voicemail with their receptionist clearly stating her name and texts with the Longmont office. Disorganized practice and very condescending 20 minutes of my time. Bottom line- avoid this place; even if you make an appointment, clearly it’s not scheduled and they make you feel guilty for their incompetencies and shortcomings.
