Tim is by far the most amazing therapist i’ve ever had. I highly recommend going here! They genuinely care about your well being and don’t make you feel like they’re only helping you because it’s their job. Always been 100% comfortable!

Life gets easier when you have an outlet. This place has been my outlet. I look forward to my weekly appointments, because I feel as though talk therapy has helped me navigate through some tough times and decisions. My therapist is very flexible with times and days and always accommodates my schedule. Sometimes even if we sit in her office and have a lunch session together! I feel productive and I leave there feeling better than how I felt when I arrived. If you are going through something hard, just remember - hard is not impossible! You can do it, with their support!

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I compare mental health providers in Connecticut?
When comparing providers in Connecticut, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
What should I ask before contacting a provider in Connecticut?
Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in Connecticut?
Some listings in Connecticut may include providers that offer substance use treatment alongside mental health services, depending on available provider data. Use the Core Services filter to search for specific service types, or browse facility detail pages to see the full list of services reported for each provider.
What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all Connecticut providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
