This is for the Orange Park location. I would give 0 stars to the MD if I could, the receptionist was amazing. The kindest woman, I don’t know how she still works under him. For this to be a MENTAL HEALTH clinic I am BEGGING you to go somewhere else! I have jumped through hoops to get this appointment. This was finally my time to get the help and I drove exactly 56 minutes to this appointment. An appointment at 5 pm because he only sees new patients on Wednesday evenings ONLY. So he see new patients for one singular day of the week leaving ME with very limited availability. I brought my two kids with me because I didn’t have anyone to watch them. I had them all prepared with snacks and an iPad to keep them calm and behaved. I was informed AFTER I drove an hour to see him at FIVE AT NIGHT, To be told by the receptionist that she had to reschedule my appointment because he didn’t want my kids there. I was never told not to bring them and had I been told I would have made arrangements but that would have been last resort. I was doing what I had to do to make it to this appointment because I need the help for MENTAL HEALTH. I didn’t get previous reviews about this office because this was the only place my insurance covered but needless to say I will not step foot back into that office. I broke down and cried in the office begging to be seen because I have waited long and went through so much for the appointment. The receptionist even offered to keep my kids during the appointment and I could hear her advocating for me trying her best to help me and he still turned me away. This doctor is lucky that today wasn’t my last straw with my mental health because this could have really pushed someone over the edge. The sweet receptionist followed me all the way to my car promising she will help me find a new psychiatrist closer to me that my insurance covers and even said she’s going to call me tomorrow to check on me. She did not leave me alone until she knew I was okay enough to drive home. Long story short DO NOT go here.
