The nurse here needs changed. Givin a script to “help” with bipolar, which found out it makes your anxiety even worse. He switches meds without slowly taking you off old ones ,which leads to TERRIBLE side effects. His answer to all problems is only to perscribe pills if its fda approved. However it can be fda approved all it wants but if you’re not informing the client about its side effects then you’re not doing your job. The counselors are great, but there nursing staff is horrible.. ended up in er room after an abrupt change in medication. Called the nurse the next day and was told to continue taking the meds because there is no side effect that makes your heart race or palpitate... the side effect that made that happen was the anxiety the meds gave me which led to the heart problems. Anxiety was listed as one of the main side effects so theres zero excuses for his performance. Really a bad move, and now for the past 10 days my life has been in withdrawal hell. Thanks for nothing. Had zero rapport with the nurse, he seemed to want to just shuffle people in and out of the office. Rinse and repeat. Don’t go here for meds.
