Nobody has any communication between anybody in the departments they were supposed to give me emergency housing there's absolutely nothing there release of information expires every 30 days yet nobody calls it's absolutely ridiculous they expect you to do all the work while they sit at the desk and do nothing they don't even follow-up with your calls but yet you're supposed to do their job and then when you call the hotline to ask for somebody Megan acts as the road block to that so she won't let you talk to anybody that you need to talk to because I was working with Kristen to trying to get housing and now I'm being told I'm not allowed to so I'm done with that program they've done nothing for me but waste my time. So Oswego County's programs do nothing they are a joke. Don't waste your time!!!!

Firstly- I was lied to by whom ever I called l. She said the entire thing would take “30 min” and it took an hour and a half and after all that I was told I still needed to wait however long for a counselor that was in a session to do a screen on me and if I left all the paperwork I already did would be invalid. The entire reason I called about length of process is because I had a dentist appt at 10am I have been waiting 3 months for because of painful dentist issues and had to miss it so now I have another appt another FOUR MONTHS out because of their unprofessionalism. Secondly the receptionist in Fulton was very rude and impersonal from the second I I came in the door. Like yeah everyone who comes through here is addicted but i believe that we deserve decent kindness or SOMETHING instead of rude reactivity from the start. I usually never have an issue with anyone anywhere but she was so short and dismissive with me and another man who came in while I was there. Thirdly however both the man who did my screen as well as the woman on the phone who did my assessment were very kind and explained the process much better than the lady at the front desk. She could hardly explain the forms I was supposed to sign and what they were for. Idk just it felt like bias towards addicts or something like she got the job at indeed and didn’t understand it.
