this was my first recovery center & i highly doubt it gets any better than this one in the 757 area. i have a brand new outlook thanks to being there. met some wonderful people :)

If I could give a zero stars I would. There are a few staff and providers that are wonderful but they unfortunately don’t make up for the mess of everyone else. Ms. Jackson misrepresented herself as a therapist when she is only a resident in counseling and was not ready to manage the underlying issues my child had. Harbor Point was named in the Senate Report for abuse and neglect and didn’t disclose it to parents, residents, and didn’t make an attempt to show what changes were being made to fix the issues. The facility will not work with schedules to keep siblings connected or have family sessions accessible to working parents. Transcripts from school were not obtained so they placed my child in the wrong grade level. Placed her on restrictions but couldn’t explain why. Violated human rights. Supervisors don’t respond to emails. They don’t provide itemized bills at all but make sure to charge insurance thousands and thousands per month. The kids can’t play outside regularly, can’t play on the playground on the website, the pool is not in use like the website portrays, on phone calls you can hear the staff yelling at the kids, staff don’t monitor who your child is calling, the kids were left unattended when a staff member walked out and we were never notified. Records weren’t released at discharge and we were repeatedly promised to have them the Monday after discharge and they were not sent. They never coordinated care post discharge. It is a nightmare to try and work with this place. Do not send your child here.
