Receptionist attempted to collect private information before doing standard enrollment forms including HIPPA. When I asked to sign the HIPPA form first she stayed quiet so I began explaining what the HIPPA form is and she interrupted me and snapped “I KNOW WHAT HIPPA IS!” I continued explaining why is should be signed first before collecting private information and she said that this is how “they have always done it, even long before she worked there.” Still refused to let me sign one first and said “obviously it’s not shared because we are a medical service”. Now reading other reviews where HIPPA has been violated by this office I am glad I didn’t continue giving private information to a complete stranger over the phone, who isn’t even the service provider.
