I have a family member that’s there and I’m hearing that she is not receiving enough food and the overnight staff, are mistreating her. Verbally. They talk back, they cuss, and they are VERY RUDE to our mom as well when it’s time for my family member to call our family. It needs to be handled and we don’t appreciate it. Your own family member gets mistreated in place where it’s suppose to be good therapy. The overnight night staff is horrible!

Would give 0 if that was an option. My mom is there and they are of zero help to her. She can't drink the water because it's gross city water and is making her sick. She's in pain. Can't sleep. Lost 8 lbs since last week. They're barely coaching or counseling her. She's not allowed to have a ginger ale In the DINING ROOM, made her throw it out. She has a lot of physical pain and they couldn't care less. She can't heal mentally in this place. I'd love nothing more than to have her transferred. You guys SUCK

I trusted these people at the crisis center. Spilled my guts and begged for help. I made it very clear from the start I was ready to accept help, that I was at my lowest. I made a statement that I was embarrassed to wait in the public waiting room while I was so tearful. I asked if there was somewhere more private, I could wait at. They took that as if I didn't want to go. They placed a custody order on me without communication and had two cops show up out of nowhere put me in handcuffs and shoved me in a police car. I was so hysterical and confused why I was being treated like a criminal when all I wanted was help. When I get to the hospital the treatment gets worse. not by the hospital staff but the police. I then get trolled through the er waiting room with officers and handcuffs. when I get to a room, they take all my stuff and are so cold to me and speak to me with no respect. after I put on the gown they gave me, they put shackles on me and chained me to a bed. I asked the officer to please loosen the shackles on my left ankle and instead she tighten them. i have bruises on my wrist and ankles. I begged them to stop, that I did nothing wrong but ask for help. I was told to shut up. The nurse kept shoving white pills down my throat every two hours to try and relax me. I was chained to a bed for 14 HOURS. before I could go upstairs. By that point I lost sight why I was there because I am trying to work through what I went through for 14 hours. this place isn't here to help us. this place needs to be defunded. I won't stop telling my story. If there are more people who went through this, please reach out. We need the mental health system to change, and the crisis center shut down. I went through abuse I didn't deserve all because I really wanted help!!!!!!!! PLEASE DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!!!! I got out today and I am really having a hard time holding together after this experience it was very traumatizing and makes me never want to ask for help again!!!
