I've been here for 15 days (PHP) and I can already say, it's by far the best facility Ive been to. We live in an actual apartment complex and make our own food. We are also allowed to have our phones (except for during class), which allows me to talk to my daughter at any time. My therapist, Max, is the best therapist I've ever had. You can tell he actually enjoys his job and is great with 1 on 1 therapy. I'd recommend this program over any other I've been to. I haven't stayed in residential, but I've heard good things. If you're looking for a place that doesn't make you feel locked down and has a great staff, (techs, nurses, counselors, etc), then this is the place for you. If there were 10 stars I'd give it a 10/10. Highly recommend. Also, I see a lot of people complaining about the classes and "lack of therapy". If the classes are too "monotonous", don't go to AA meetings. If you can't listen to a lecture because you've "heard it before", you're going to hear basically the same thing every day in AA meetings. Repetition is good, although I don't consider the classes montotonius at all. If someone has a bad experience here, it's because they chose to. Walking out of class or being on your phone during class is not conducive to recovery. I wouldn't walk out of an AA meeting. There are plenty of breaks between classes and plenty of time to meet with case managers or put in medical requests. Also, the apartments are nice. Clearly people saying otherwise haven't been to other facilities. Believe what you want, but I've experienced a number of facilities and this is easily the best around.
