The group leaders are compassionate, attentive, and genuinely care about everyone’s well-being. Being able to share experiences and hear from people facing similar challenges helped me feel less alone and more understood. I’ve gained valuable coping strategies, emotional support, and encouragement through every session. I would highly recommend this group to anyone looking for a safe space to talk, heal, and grow emotionally. The staff is awesome.

My experience at La Amistad was life changing. I had never been to a treatment center before, so I didn’t know what to expect. I am so grateful for the staff and treatment team, they all care so much and prioritize patient success. The program is designed to enhance your healing and learning process, the food is great, the opportunities to grow are constant, and the support available to you after release is phenomenal. I did the residential treatment and am able to “step down” to other options so I can still receive group and individual therapy, and even have options for virtual meetings since I live 8-hours away. I highly recommend La Amistad if you are looking for mental health/substance abuse treatment in Florida.
