Mental Health Providers in Fair Lawn, New Jersey

My experience at TCC in Fair Lawn has been amazing so far. Andrew has been incredible—truly someone who goes above and beyond to make you feel supported. The IOP program has made a huge impact on me. It’s helped me feel more confident, more open, and has genuinely helped me grow into a better person. I also want to recognize my therapist, Brianna. She’s attentive, compassionate, and I always leave our one-on-one sessions feeling better and more understood. Overall, the program at TCC Fair Lawn has been life-changing, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for real support and growth.

I am submitting this formal complaint regarding the inadequate care and repeated scheduling issues I have experienced at your office. Since beginning therapy four months ago with Isabell, I have not had a single consistent appointment or received coping mechanisms to support my treatment. Each attempt to schedule an appointment has been extremely difficult, requiring multiple calls and follow-ups, which should not be the case in a healthcare setting. I requested an in-person appointment, which was scheduled, canceled, and then rescheduled on a day when my therapist is not in the office. This makes no sense, as the original appointment was in-person, yet the reschedule was set on a day that does not allow for that type of session. It has also been explained to me that my therapist is not in-office on Thursdays — so I do not understand why appointments would continue to be scheduled for days she is unavailable. Furthermore, I was given my therapist’s extension but have never been able to reach her through it. This has left me without reliable access to my provider. The lack of organization, follow-through, and patient care I’ve experienced is unacceptable. At this point, it feels as though there is little to no passion for caring for your community, and the service provided has been dismissive at best. I strongly urge your office to do better, as patients deserve reliable access to mental health care. Get rid of the entire staff( therapist, receptionist) .
