many staff are at the very least unprofessional and clearly lack proper training and crisis management skills. i was promised a survey at the end of my stay to express my likes and dislikes with my experience, and was not granted this even upon request. in my opinion, this is a very unsafe environment that does not perpetuate healing or encourage growth. even staff that do their best with limited resources can only do so much given the frankly grim state of this facility. like most facilities similar to this one they get you in and out relatively quickly, and in my case, i feel i received the BAREST amount of “care” (1 on 1 therapy, groups, etc.) to classify as progress before being released. i am honestly shocked treatment like this is so standardized.
