I was referred to a 6-day driving intervention program, and honestly, I was taken aback by what I encountered. Financially, I’m going through a tough time and had to stretch my resources to afford attending this program. The living conditions were disappointing, as the facility was outdated and in poor condition.

Some staff were really nice but there was so much wrong with detoxing here.. Some of my things ended up missing. Took them 3 days to give me my clothes back the lady left them in the washer over night the one night then the next forgot. As a detox patient, you are instantly mixed into the crowd of the.Regular patients that are already feeling better.While you are miserable, having to hear people run around opening and closing doors. They are the only place that's still wakes you up every four hours to get your blood pressure.It's awful. Coming up fentanyl, I had no order for suboxone in coming in, like how is that possible, like when you are coming in for that, you should automatically get suboxone to taper off of. It was kind of just a traumatizing experience being so sick and having to go thru taking care of yourself and I had to drive 1.5 hours to get there. As soon as my clothes didn't get back to me the second day after sitting in the wash.That's when I decided it was time to go. I was basically staying there to get comfort meds and watch everyone have a grand old time while i'm detoxing miserable. Separate detox from residential. Its just not fair to have to be around all that in the beginning stages. I went to silver Maple and Lorraine, which made me wanna try out this facility. But they are nothing alike, and I was told that that they were not run by the same people. And I could instantly tell, because the one in lorain was the reason that I came to this one because I loved it and just wanted to go somewhere different. But boy do I regret it
