Find Mental Health Treatment & Behavioral Health Services in Mount Orab, Ohio

I called the day before I went in to make sure they had actual doctors on staff that can prescribe what I needed. I was there at 8 the next morning, filled out paperwork. Was told to wait, I would be called back for acessment and and to see someone. After talking to the worker, trying to explain what going on and why, she proceeds to tell me they don't have psychiatrist there just a n.p.and shy could only prescribe the 2 meds I had recently tried and so they couldn't do nothing for me. Really? Well I tried calling a couple psychiatrist and dang if they don't work at the Talbert House. They refused to help someone who truly needed help ill never recommend this place to anyone. I'm still in need of help but this place doesn't care . I just don't understand why they treated me like this. My other Drs are shocked too I'm not in a good place mentally but what am I supposed to do?

Today was my daughters first day. The counselor Tina is great. I'd give her a hundred stars if I could. The front desk lady, I think her name is Amy, has given me attitude now on 3 different occasions. When I first stopped in to drop off paper work, when she called to get my daughter in for her first appointment and now before we left. You would think that a place like that would want a friendly person at the front desk. She is just rude and very "rushy". She definitely needs an attitude adjustment. Tina is the only reason they have any stars from me. And like I said, I would give her 100 plus if I could because she was very professional and she truly cared about my daughter. We look forward to seeing Tina again and again!
