Family member started in 2023 and was approved for the sliding scale help with only my income. Once I started receiving insurance through my job the family member no longer qualified for the financial help. My insurance has a copay of $30. Even though the family member qualified to pay $0 for services;is now being charged the copay. I called and I was told that the insurance is charging the copay that is due for services. Why is the $30 not waived if the family member qualified to pay $0? I asked what the family member would pay if there was no insurance; their reply was $0 for services. Doesn't make sense. Along with just finding this out. They sent a bill for all the past visits from last year. Their reply to that was that they had been charging but someone had not sent the bill out in the mail. Not happy with this at all!!!
