Thought this place was good at first for my child who has autism. 4 months later I take her to see Coretta the psychiatrist and the whole visit was weird! She needed fasting blood work done. They call the next day at 8am asking if the blood work was done!??? Told them I would wait for her dr appt in a few days since she’s autistic and hates needles. Talk to the pediatrician who recommended we see a new psychiatrist and wanted to do the fasting blood work at their office , I agree and corettas nurse calls me the same day I tell the nurse what her pediatrician told me to say that we are going to another psychiatrist we don’t want care here any longer and the nurse calls back 5 min later, leaves a voicemail saying my daughter has to get bloodwork through coretta or they will call cps!!!! I will never recommend this place and am even considering taking legal action! This place is for a particular demographic that we do not fit and it should be okay if you don’t feel comfortable to switch providers! CSB shame on you for this type of behavior! Please don’t go here! go to UVA ! I’ve never experienced this behavior in my life!
