I'm so excited to have found this place for counseling! I'm originally from Vancouver WA and had to temporarily relocate due to a house fire. The counseling place I had before was great but it was going downhill and I needed a change. Consejo is proving to be definitely a great change. Not only did I have a good experience from the first phone call, I was assigned to probably one of the better counselors I've had. Sadly it was for a short time, but I think I learned more from her than what I have been attempting to learn in the past few years with the other people that I have worked with. My medication doctor is fantastic and helpful and explained in easy to understand language what I was experiencing with some of the medications that I had been prescribed wasn't probably the best, so we tweaked my medication to be a good combination and I'm feeling better now than I expected. I like it when I have to have a little bit of "homework" to talk about when I meet back with the doctor or my counselor and I have that. I'm not exactly sure if I am ever going to be all fixed up and put in a new pretty box, because I am not even ashamed of my "assortment of awesomeness" I was given with the genetic pool. Learning how to get through this life with the genetic pool of awesomeness I was given is that much easier to handle now that I have Consejo counseling.
