Mental Health Providers in Federal Way, Washington

Having been to TC several times, in hindsight, they were a lot better than any other involuntary facility. The staff were often friendly and reasonable, the providers weren’t overly forceful with medication. The food here is prepared by the staff themselves and was consistently of higher quality nutritionally and flavor wise than any other place I have been. The janitorial staff were slacking but the regular staff did their part to help out. This facility is the only one that has individual 1 bed rooms, and this was the only facility that allowed me some of the comforts of home as a patient there in the winter of 2023. It is sad that voluntary wards are not run more similarly to this one. I have not had a relapse of my condition or been hospitalized a single time since my last stay here, and that’s a testament to having a good friend while in their care and the friendly staff like David, Jeanetta, Marichu, Andrea and others.
