Mental Health Providers in West Haven, Connecticut

I made an appointment two months ago, told I would receive an email prior to my appointment to set up the portal. Never received an email and my appointment was cancelled without any notification. They had a wrong email, which I understand, but no one could have called before cancelling? Now I would have to wait for another appointment? Very unorganized and unsympathetic for the field they are in. Very disappointed.

This is sadly the worst treatment center I’ve had the displeasure of working with. I’ve been a an exemplary client for a long period of time. I needed to leave the state today because I had a death in my family so they suggested instead of putting in my medication for it’s refill (which was due today but they made a mistake like every other month and said I couldn’t get it until Monday. So they suggested even though I explained I have state insurance and my prescriptions aren’t covered out of state that I find a pharmacy out there to do this / meanwhile I’m dealing with a family emergency and I explained that I was told I can’t pay out of pocket for my prescriptions due to limitations with my insurance and I was told I could lose my insurance if I pay for them - the director just reiterated that I do that, and therefore jeopardize my insurance. Do to their incompetence. They only have a Dr in the office 1x a week that I can POSSIBLY get ahold of , phone calls are never returned except by Moe who is a counselor and a saint to work with such uncaring people. This place has gone downhill since opening the west haven location. It’s ok to mock patients to their face and I’ve just had it with their lack of communication and empathy. If you don’t like working with people- don’t!! We don’t need mental health workers that perpetuate negativity and stress. Formal complaints will follow.
