The billing practices at this clinic are sloppy and poorly managed. Across multiple visits, they repeatedly billed Medicare using a telehealth facility fee (Q3014) that does not apply to at-home telehealth appointments. Medicare denied these charges every time due to “incorrect information,” yet the clinic continued submitting the same incorrect code without fixing it. This created unnecessary confusion in my billing, including inconsistent charges and unclear patient responsibility. Instead of correcting the issue, the billing department dismissed concerns and attributed everything to my deductible, ignoring the repeated claim errors. Patients should not have to audit their provider’s billing or chase down mistakes that are clearly avoidable. Repeatedly submitting incorrect billing codes without correction suggests a lack of oversight or attention to Medicare billing requirements. Also the billing department is rude.
