No therapy, nothing to make u better, their only job is to prevent u at that moment from killing yourself they do nothing to help them thoughts stop. And it’s way to boring if people are depressed and going through a hardtime mentally the last thing they want is to be bored and stuck in there head all day thinking how much there life sucks

At first I was very hesitant to make a review, however seeing these reviews I just know I have to speak up. I brought my daughter in last night to be evaluated after having a conversation with my family we all agreed this would be the right thing to do. I explained to the social worker Caroline cohen all my concerns. After discovering something very significant about my daughter me and my older girls had to take turns watching her sleep I was to afraid to leave her alone. We had never been through this before so this was very hard for me. I literally cried to this woman because I was so heart broken.Giving this woman my reasoning for why my daughter really need this evaluation. And she totally disregarded my concerns with blank empty stares. It was very obvious she did not care and did not show any empathy or compassion whatsoever. After leaving very upset and the Socail worker trying to disrespect me with a have a nice day and a mean look on her face Me and my family went to our car. Five minutes after getting in the car that same Socail worker was leaving for the day. I believe the admission process took to much of her time so she just had to get us out of there. Health care is not a privilege it’s a Right. And this woman does not make decisions for my child when she clearly is incompetent to for the roll. Since then I had a conversation with a health care professional and they also agree that with the information that I shared they don’t see why she would choose to not admit my daughter.so even if it’s not from Sheppard Pratt my daughter will get the help that she needs and it will be a team of people behind my daughter. I’m actually embarrassed for her. And even if this woman does not get in trouble I realize this was not her first time doing this to someone it’s people out there who have a story on her because this kind of sick behavior is repetitive. And I will take all the appropriate steps in contacting who I need to so that I can make sure that my story is well documented. I’m sure others have also been mistreated by her. And if this is the record she wants we’ll let her have it.
