Terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE. I got transferred here from Trinity Health in Livonia due to suicide watch, and I felt like I made the WORST mistake ever by agreeing to be transferred here. I was on edge my entire time due to violent patients being on the same unit as patients just simply having a bad day or such. It’s no way that patients that have mental problems which can cause them to be violent is on the same unit as somebody that just needed a little help mentally. Witnessed 2 attacks in the span of 2 days from mentally unstable patients attacking another patient for absolutely no reason at all. There’s patients taking dumps on the floor, in chairs, digging and eating food out of the garbage, etc. I would have better healed myself at home and not having to worry about being attacked in my sleep or anything else. Also they WILL give your clothes away to other patients so do NOT bring anything expensive, although the better option would be to just not come here if you have the choice. Do not believe lies that you will be here for 72 hours to 5 days max as well. I was lucky to get out on my 6th because the average stay is 7-10 days. A lot of “Mental Health Techs” have extremely terrible attitudes and they talk to you as if you’re a toddler. I will not be happy until this place is closed down for good.
