I have been through PHP twice because of very difficult times in my life and it has been the best of all of the many counselors/programs that I tried over the years. It teaches coping skills, and it really TEACHES them, not just have chat fests or complaint fests that most counseling consists of in most places. And it follows up with weekly counseling that continues with help with coping skills. I have had numerous "counselors" in the past from many other places that only chat for an hour every week and never teach you how to change. My life is a whole lot better because of PHP and this program. I recommend it.

Throughout my life, I’ve struggled with ADHD. After a negative experience with a doctor who didn’t specialize in ADHD, prescribed too high a dosage of a medication, and didn’t listen to me, I was hesitant to seek help again. However, as I began struggling again with organization, managing schoolwork, and keeping my space clean, I decided to give it another try. I’m so glad I did.

My experience with the WIC office here was a couple years ago, but it was wonderful. The environment was very nice, and I would probably have stopped breastfeeding without their help. They supplied me with the equipment and knowledge that I needed to succeed, and I managed to breastfeed for 18 months. Thank you!
