Mental Health Providers in Kent, Ohio

My son doesn’t feel comfortable with his psychiatrist so he wants to see another one at the same organization….. so why do they tell me (my sons mother) that he has to see the same psychiatrist and tell him that he doesn’t want to see him and discuss it with him and THEN they can schedule us with someone else??? I’m laughing because that is SO unprofessional and WEIRD! Why on earth would a client or patient want to go into an appointment and TELL the very DR they are uncomfortable with that they are uncomfortable and don’t want to see them can you schedule me with someone else! COLEMAN change your policy and get it together BECAUSE MY organization does not tell clients especially children to do such things, they talk to a higher up and schedule with someone else?

So far since January 2026, they have been awesome to me and I think it really helped me to see myself in the positive way I always should have. I thank Lisa for being not only a counselor but also a new friend. I ended up here from a moments bad decision and it's changing me forever to stay sober. Thank You

Very clean. Staff is always friendly and IOP isn't terrible to do here! Fun fact, there is a second story to this building.
